Overnight at Harberton
Harberton is mainly set up for day visitors. However, we offer accomodation for those who prefer a longer experience in the first Estancia in the argetinean Tierra del Fuego island.
Our guest house, the old Sheperd´s House, is located by the bay with impressive views of the Beagle Channel and the different buildings of the Estancia. It has two triple rooms with private bathrooms and a small kitchinette.
The rate includes tea on arrival, dinner and breakfast, and several activities: a special homestead tour, museum tour and self-guided walks and hikes to different natural view points and atractions in the Estancia.
Our guests enjoy the beautiful natural scenery from the deck by the bay, watching the changing light as the sun sets over Harberton’s hills and mountains, home made meals and a friendly atmosphere.
No visitors received after 7 pm, no credit cards or traveler's checks. Penguin Island walking tour not included. Sorry, we do not offer horseback riding. Please consult firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have three wooded camping sites, each along a river, but without services (no rest rooms): Río Lasifashaj, Río Varela & Río Cambaceres. Camping is free, with a written permission from the estancia (request permit at the Tea Room).
